The Jewish Student Union works toward evaluating and improving Jewish life on campus. We are here to express a voice, to allocate resources to members, and to foster communication between Jewish student groups on campus.
Mission The Jewish Student Union seeks to maximize opportunities for Jewish students to explore, celebrate, and sanctify life in a Jewish way. The Jewish Student Union also strives to unify Jewish student groups and coordinate their efforts by providing a forum for communication. Our programming reflects the interests of students and consequently evolves as students’ interests change. Students are empowered to take responsibility for their Jewish identity, whether they wish to participate in a community service project, express themselves artistically, participate in a social event, engage in formal Jewish learning, or attend religious services. Any student may participate in Jewish Student Union sponsored programs – no membership is required. The Jewish Student Union is committed to a pluralistic vision of Judaism.
